The 1846 Tavern Fresh Local Farm Vegetables

Each Week During the summer and fall seasons, Chef Kyle visits local farmer's markets in Brattleboro, Bennington, Dorset and a few others to purchase fresh locally grown produce.

You do not have to be a farm to join our program. We are looking for local people who take pride in growing fresh fruits and vegetables in their garden. This program will allow our customers to enjoy amazing local fruits and vegetables. We will post each growers name on our blackboard as you enter our restaurant or on our daily menus.

The 1846 Tavern and Restaurant will trade for home grown vegetables. We will trade a gift certificate in the amount of the produce that you bring to us to use in the restaurant. The dollar amount we are willing to trade will be determined by Chef Kyle.

Please stop by the restaurant between 2-4pm on Wednesdays and we will barter with you.
